kortirion pointed this out to me, and it is such a brilliant idea that I decided to run with it straight away as it is now my turn for six weeks.

So - what is a contronym? It is a word with two opposite meanings, e.g. 'sanction' (which can mean both 'to approve' and 'to boycott').

This weeks contronym is bolt - which can mean to secure, or to flee.
